To Hide a Construction Node

Select (Construction Visible).
Click the node in the View or Graph window.
The node is hidden in the View and grayed out in the Graph window.

Tip: You can select a subject node in the graph view and check the right-click > Construction Visible menu option to quickly revert the status.
